چکیده

Flying platforms, such as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are a promising solution for future small cell networks. UAVs can be used base stations (BSs) to enhance coverage, capacity and reliability of wireless Also, with recent advances self interference cancellation (SIC) techniques in full-duplex (FD) systems, practical implementation FD BSs is feasible. In this paper, we investigate the problem resource allocation multi-small networks FD-UAVs imperfect SIC. We consider three different scenarios: a) maximizing DL sum-rate; b) UL finally c) sum sum-rates. The aforementioned problems result non-convex optimization problems, therefore, successive convex approximation algorithms developed by leveraging D.C. (Difference Convex functions) programming find sub-optimal solutions. Simulation results illustrated validity effectiveness proposed radio management comparison ground BSs, both mode its half-duplex (HD) counterpart. also indicate those situations where using BS advantageous over reveal how transmission enhances network performance HD one.

Resource Allocation in Full Duplex Heterogeneous Networks with eICIC

— In this paper, we consider a two-tier heterogeneous Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) network which consists of one Full Duplex (FD) macrocell and several FD femtocells. Enhanced Inter-Cell Interference Coordination (eICIC) by means of Almost Blank Subframe (ABS) is considered to reduce the cross-tier interference. We formulate a resource allocation problem to maximize th...

Echo State Learning for Wireless Virtual Reality Resource Allocation in UAV-enabled LTE-U Networks

In this paper, the problem of resource management is studied for a network of wireless virtual reality (VR) users communicating using an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)-enabled LTE-U network. In the studied model, the UAVs act as VR control centers that collect tracking information from the VR users over the wireless uplink and, then, send the constructed VR images to the VR users over an LTE-U d...

Co-design of Full-duplex RFIC and Resource Allocation Algorithms

Full-duplex (FD) wireless -simultaneous transmission and reception at the same frequency -is an emerging wireless duplexing scheme that has the potential to significantly improve wireless network performance [1-2]. However, the biggest challenge associated with FD wireless is the tremendous amount of self-interference (SI) on top of the desired signal. The SI has to be suppressed below the rece...

Bicriteria Resource Allocation Problem in Pert Networks

We develop a bicriteria model for the resource allocation problem in PERT networks, in which the total direct costs of the project as the first objective, and the mean of project completion time as the second objective are minimized. The activity durations are assumed to be independent random variables with either exponential or Erlang distributions, in which the mean of each activity duration ...

Dynamic Resource Allocation in Next Generation Cellular Networks with Full-Duplex Self-backhauls

With the dense deployment of small cell networks, low-cost backhaul schemes for small cell base stations (SBSs) have attracted great attentions. Self-backhaul using cellular communication technology is considered as a promising solution. Although some excellent works have been done on self-backhaul in small cell networks, most of them do not consider the recent advances of full-duplex (FD) and ...
